Footnotes is a father-daughter-led jazz ensemble that seamlessly blends saxophone, tap dance, piano, and upright bass into a dynamic conversation of rhythm and melody. Originally a duo exploring the interplay between sax and tap, the group evolved into a full-bodied band where movement is as integral as sound. With a repertoire spanning classic jazz standards to modern interpretations, Footnotes delivers an immersive experience that captivates both the eyes and ears, redefining how rhythm fits into the fabric of live jazz performance.

Everyone is welcome.

Typically, our services last for an hour, and in Northwood fashion, we offer a time of conversation over home baked goods prior to Vespers.

The Jazz Vespers service provides a time where jazz meets the Spirit in a time of reflection and prayer. The suggested donation is $10, or pay-what-you can.

We can’t wait to see you there.
