"Orange Shirt Sunday was held at Northwood on Sunday September 28th (in advance of the September 30th National Day for Truth and Reconciliation). People were invited to wear their orange shirts as an act of solidarity with the many who experienced the legacy of Residential Schools. We focused on reconciliation as an act of 'Daring Justice' as we pondered Amos 5: 18-24 and Luke 4: 14-21. Northwood continues its walk of reconciliation as we seek ways to learn and grow from our Indigenous siblings."
