Will was first brought into the United Church in the arms of his parents. He cannot remember a times when church was not somewhere on his radar. However, Will has explored the waterfront when it comes to faith. Formative in this exploration was a pilgrimage as a young adult through Europe and the Middle East, visiting intentional communities like Iona, Taize, Mount Athos, and living on a Kibutz in Israel.
Will's undergrad degree was in Psychology and Religious Studies and he took his Seminary training at St. Andrew's College in Saskatoon. He served the United Church first in Arrow Lakes Pastoral Charge in the Kootenays for six years, then for ten years in Salmon Arm Pastoral Charge, and has been at Northwood since January of 2009.
Will is part of an active family, loves making music, canoing, kayaking, travelling, working in the garden, and puttering in his chaotic shop.
