I have been a yoga instructor for 15 years and a fitness instructor for 33 years.
I am trained in the swami kripalu discipline which is a Hatha based yoga with an eclectic mix of kundalini and Ashtanga yoga. Kripalu means compassion in Sanskrit. The type of yoga I teach is gentle and compassionate with an encouragement to go inwards to increase self awareness and self compassion. This is beneficial to all levels and all ages. Healing is my passion and the essence of my work.
I also teach restorative yoga, yin yoga, flow yoga, fitness yoga, gentle therapeutic yoga, yoga nidra, senior yoga, family yoga and children yoga. I have my level one Reiki certification, and a level one Thai yoga massage therapy certification.
I also enjoy interests in holistic healing methods, tai chi, belly dancing, hula Polynesian dance, and nature walks.
