I have been practicing Yoga for over 15 years and have found it to be a path of self-reflection, self-acceptance and deep connection. I originally came to Yoga to ease my own pain and suffering and through the physical postures (asana), breath (pranayama) and meditation, I was able to let go, surrender and accept myself and the world around me as it was.
In order to deepen my own practice, I decided to train as a Yoga Teacher and it was through this training that I realized how accessible and healing Yoga is to people in all walks of life. My desire to share Yoga with others grew!
I specialize in Gentle, Therapeutic and Holistic Yoga for resilience and emotional well-being. I have taught Yoga to people with addictions, mobility issues, mental- health challenges, to seniors and to beginners. Every-body can do Yoga!
I am also a Registered Aromatherapist®, Reiki Teacher, and Integrative Energy Healing Practitioner™. I have an immense compassion for people and the challenges we all face as we navigate through our lives. I have volunteered my services to hospice, people on the down town east side of Vancouver, Women Shelters and people living with Hep C and HIV. Through working with these specialized groups, I recognize that we all want the same thing and that is: to be loved, accepted, seen and heard. A Yoga practice can help us do that, not only for ourselves but for those around us as well.
I look forward to sharing Yoga with you!
