We are excited to launch a new opportunity to get together 'virtually' in the future weeks ahead. We are excited to announce the launch of our new "At-Home Youth & Children's Church" commencing on Sunday October 4th. It will be similar to what we offered on Sundays at Northwood, just slightly modified, and in a socially distanced format.
So...how will at-Home Youth & Children's Church work?
- We will gather together with Rev. Scott and some of our amazing Sunday School teachers on Zoom for a video gathering starting at 10 am on Sunday mornings. This will include some teaching, conversation, prayer and song. You can access zoom via your cell phone, tablet or computer. Rev. Scott will be pleased to help get you up and running if this is new for you.
- After our communal time together on zoom, parents and guardians will then work with their children / youth using the at-home learning kits that will be provided to everyone. The kits will be age-appropriate for younger and older, but the same 'theme' and biblical focus will be consistent.
- After 20-30 minutes parent/guardian - child time, we will gather for a closing time.
- We are sure that this will provide a deep opportunity for learning for children, youth, parents & guardians alike!
We are excited to start out with "A Month of Gratitude" and are excited to see what spiritual growth and observations will come (for all of us)!
Zoom links have been sent out, but if you need help using this technology, or if you would like to be included, please be in touch with Rev. Scott or Candie and we will get you all set up.
We look forward to sharing in this spiritual time together!
