SHOE BOX MINISTRY
This group provides toiletries and socks for the homeless through Surrey Urban Mission Society (SUMS) in Whalley. It's a year round ministry providing people in our neighbourhood with basic toiletry needs. Donations of shoeboxes, shaving cream, deodorants, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, washcloths and socks may be dropped off at Northwood during office hours or on Sunday mornings throughout the year.

EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY
Northwood regularly provides up to 100 households with emergency food staples upon request. (Recipients may only access the pantry once per month during office hours). On the 1st Sunday of the month, worshippers are requested to bring in non-perishable items or make a monetary donation for the Food Pantry.

CLOVERDALE COMMUNITY KITCHEN
In partnership with The Cloverdale Commuity Kitchen, Northwood volunteers offer a hearty meal for. 60-80 unhoused people. The meal is prepared at the Community Kitchen and served in their dining hall. This is a great opportunity for both youth and adults to reach out and serve others. We usually serve the meal on the 5th Friday of the month. Please let the Bev W or Rev. Scott know if you would like to take part.
